  1. It's probably the DG2813, it's a $15 mvt. You can look at ofrei (google "ofrei watch parts") and order it. Your watch maker will be able to install it. But the price to order it + SH + fee to install it, the total cost will be probably near the price of this watch. Suggestion, buy a better rep. The model you show here, it's a ceramic bezel with a metalic electric blue dial, it's a fantasy model (not sold by Rolex). Just my two cents.
  2. The 4813 is pretty noisy, it's normal.
  3. PerfectClones just play safe by saying "Stainless 316" without mention of L or F oh g! all this smell marketing hype and the famous contreversy around 316L and 316F
  4. Here we go again about this folks. Trusty claim that his case it's a 316L, (i.e CASE MATERIAL: Solid Stainless Steel 316L, Correct HE postion) and PureTime claim tha his case is a 316F( i.e Case: solid 316F stainless steel case. ) and both are pretty the same price, even more, the 316F is less expensive. I'll let you decide what to think about all this.
  5. Nothing except the mvt. BTW TrustyTime sell it too ($98 + SH). This Asian 2813 Mvt is a dollar mvt, cheap and really a basic one, but can be a workhorse if you take care of it (be gently when you change hour/date). I had one in an POrikaa and was very accurate. Buying this version can be a good test drive, and if you like it, go with an ETA mvt, but the case/finish will be the same. And what it's all about stuff around the 316F, personnaly I just don't beleive asian factory build two kind of the same cases with two different metal that is pretty the same (really they bother with that?), one with 316L and another one with 316F, for me it's just a marketing gammic to hook you and to spend more money. Who the hell can verify this statement that it is 316F. Nobody, exept a metallurgist test. We can't base assumption just on a "visual" observation, too subjective.
  6. Too lousy to find this info in the Movement Q&A section Is the Asian 4813 can be a direct swap (same pigon hand size) for a DG4813 ($30 mvt) in case that the mvt crash?
  7. I suggest a Speedy Moon watch (new or pre-own) due to his soul that is arround this watch. A classic, you can't go wrong with it, except if day/date it's a must for you.
  8. If it's like the SSD, just wait for the V2 or v3 or v4 or ultimate version of the PO 5th gen. But be aware, the price will rise up too...it's the new game for rep marketing, coming out with a version, and improve it, and improve it and justify to selling it $399 for the v5 of the PO5th
  9. I will not tell you what U-Boat owner thing about your "small" UPO
  10. +1 too, I prone the KISS concept ("Keep it simple stupid" or "keep it short and simple" or "keep it simple and straightforward").
  11. ...but Rolex Sub and SeaDweller look cheap to you too? LOL! [just joking, don't jump on it too seriously]
  12. Being an old Seiko fan (still have one watch), I want to comment on this, even seeing the price of rep that is going higher and higher, I prefer to pay for a rep with a some "little" flaws instead of a watch for the same price (I don't talk about Grand Seiko here guys) that don't have sapphire, no AR, folded link bracelet, no sophisticated case finish. There's always some flaws on rep. There's some exception (Seamaster Chrono, some sub, etc.) but they are pretty rare. Waiting the Saint Grale, you will wait and wait and will NEVER be happy. Rep factory are not perfect and they will always make some stupid flaws. Accept it.
  13. My eyes hurts after looking this
  14. I'm looking for an induction cooktop, those cooktop use a technology base on a strong magnetic field and I ask a question to myself about if this field is strong enough to do something to watch (balance wheel). Need to remove my watch each time I want to cook could be a big no go on this type of cooktop/ranges. Somebody already have this answer? Thanks and "Bon Appetit" [julia child]
  15. I remember in my Invicta watch use a Sellita SW200 mvt, and it was a keeper. Swiss mvt, Asian swiss copy, or now Sellita, we never know what we will get in a rep, but Sellita, for sure, is absolutely good and ok for for our rep watch, and I agree, we will probably see more of these in future, and I"m ok with this, more than an Asian ETA copy that QC is very so so.
  16. I had two PO (not UPO) rubber strap from him, and it fit tight and perfectly and tight on the POrikka watch case. Personally, I recommend it. Voil
  17. Anybody got scratches on a ceramic bezel ? or there's a member that can show us his ceramic bezel if it become dull with time? Thanks to share.
  18. I'm interested to know why you ask this . Can you put some light for all of us who are no Rolex expert here. Which one is the gen, A or B?
  19. Don't waste your time. Go with a used gen one. No rep will give you the spirit of the gen speedy moon. This watch can generate a lotttttt of "soul". Just my two cents.
  20. +1 here At this price, go with both of them, it will be the best "test drive" you can get, and if you REALLY like the 45mm over the 42mm, sell both of them and go with the ultimate 45mm rep, or just keep the POrikaa one, for THAT price, impossible to beat the price/quality ratio. The case is very well build, impressive quality.
  21. Puretime just came out with, "finally", a full brush link bracelet. I was near to pull the trigger on one. That's a good start, but there's place to more improvement, be patient, we will see a lot of version of this one like we see for the DeepSeaDweller rep.
  22. Nice, that remind me an old Kobold/Sinn watch. Deal with Howard a few times for straps. A true gentleman.
  23. A new acquisition: In memory of my Fortis-B42 that I just sold last week to get some funds for something else than watches.
  24. not for me either... maybe with no num and plain subdial.
