  1. I just received the 42mm from WatchEden. Suprise ! it's a 45.5mm not the 42.5mm that I pay for first time I do business with them, maybe last time I'll do business with them. I wrote to them and will see what they will do, first thing I will not ship it back at my own risk, and, certainly not at my own shipping fee. Maybe it wil go in FS section. Rep world it's a lot of good suprise, and, a lot, a lot of frustration, and I hit another exemple. Not the first bad experience, maybe not the last... sorry, I wanted to vent here...you know the drill, we ALL need to vent when we live bad things like that. Ok, for the rest, the watch is identical to the POrikaa model, I mean, same bezel teeth "
  2. After a long hibernation of watch acquisition and participation here, I do a soft come back with a PO 42mm from Narikaa, and another one from WatchEden (lite PO 42mm too on rubber) that I will get tomorow. What I show here is the Narikaa 42mm version (POrikaa), I'll be able to compare both of them this week. Intro: First, I want to thanks Narikaa for his excellent communication by doing business with. He's service is absolutely outstanding (he reply very fast to your question). The packaging of watch was very well made too. I recommend him without hesitation. Bezel: I want to advise all member who are purist will be probably disappointed about the bezel here. The bezel teeth structure is NOT like the GEN watch but it is like "
  3. We want rubber strap... We want rubber strap... We want rubber strap...
  4. +1 here too... I was willing to buy the black version, but at this price, I'll go to get the new Chrono Omega black dial vesion.
  5. Eye candy... Still in my collection... and will stay for life.
  6. Sea-Dweller.... and I still prefer this model than the new one, less is more IMHO.
  7. Did you tried this test: Manually full wind it (40- turn) at EACH morning before put it on your wrist, check after one week if you have the same problem, if yes, return it to Trusty.
  8. The rehaut with the writing on it, good god, why the hell they put this on the front??? why don't just put these infos on the case back... like other member said, it detract the dial design. Clearly, this watch is a TOOL watch, and that's all, who will wore this with a suit . But for $11 000 for a "diving watch", you can get a Seiko MONSTER, or a SKX007 that will do a very nice job for diving to 200M, just for ~$200. Come on Rolex, you push it too far this time. What next? a watch that will be able to go to the center of the earth?
  9. Finaly, a sunny saturday, will not stay inside very long...
  10. By my knowledge, PureTime don't sell the 42.5mm PO, just the 45mm version.
  11. Already had the pumpkin, but find it too funky, sold it. I don't regret it. I have an eyes on a 42mm red number black bezel... if they can do a 5th generation UPO 42mm
  12. Do they correct the rotor misspell "RESEPVE" word?
  13. Come back of my 3717, Swiss 7750, full mod.
  14. Showing his Rolex with beethov in background. The perfect fit !!!
  15. Realy like these band, come in different color too, the yellow stripe should be not bad on sub/SSD too !
  16. Just to change the bad atmosphere, I my
  17. Since a few years, men size watch was ~40mm, over that was considerate as big watch, mid size was ~37-38mm, so all watch that is 44mm and over are big watch. But these days, ~42mm seems to be the "new" men size standard.
  18. With more and more rep of big watch, and the demand seem to be for big watches, if your wrist can handle it, are you comfortable (psychologically) to wear these big watch like 44mm, 46mm watches and more ?
  19. @ Stephane, Q:The chronossimo 22mm don't get too much friction/deteroation with time in the lug inserstion due to the 21mm lug size of the 3717? Thanks for your feedback.
  20. Yeah! that smell bad... Another one who try to catch a big fish
  21. I have a 6.5" wrist too, but I don't share your opinion on that jeff. Here my opinion. I bought a Skyland that is 17-18mm thick with the bezel, and yes, it's thick like a puck, but it's the look that Breitling want to give. It's thick on all kind of wrist. These kind of watch has a lot of presence and it's the goal (like panarai). Of course, all my other watch are not thick as the Skyland (Rolies, navitimer, speedy moon, etc.etc.), but a thick watch can have a place with a 6.5" wrist in a collection. The most important is the lug tip to lug tip size, it need to be just the same or under the size of your wrist. And the lup tip design is important too. A straight end lug tip can be more problematic, like a UPO, some pilot watch like the IWC 3717. Another factor is, if you have a "flat" wrist instead a "round" wrist, that help too.
