  1. The same thing happened to me. I had this watch for a couple of months. Used it 5-10 times before the movement stopped. I had it shipped back to China in August 2008. The dealer claimed it never arrived. However, the shipment was insured and the post office started an investigation. After two months I got the message that it had been delivered by the chinese post office. I never told the dealer as I got tired of the situation. One time the dealer offered me a Breitling Navitimer when I asked for my AP (that watch belonged to someone else). Anyway, the AP was very nice. I put an Oracle strap in kevlar on and it looked great. This watch actually caught attention. The first picture is my watch before I send it back (crappy picture (only for identification of the exact watch I shipped back) and with the rubber strap put back on). The second picture is of a gen Paris Boutique.
  2. The rivets on the rep strap are very good. All aftermarket straps have the cheapest rivets. I got the Strapluxe gator for my 5002 and I will try to cut the rivets out of hte rep strap and install them on the gator strap. Have not yet and it remains to be seen if it works out
  3. Thanks freddy, of to the watchmaker it is.
  4. The resetting chrono pusher has fallen of the case of my Seagull Daytona 6265. The question is if I have to open the case to reattach the pusher. I have found this tread: http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showto...=daytona+pusher showing how to fit an aftermarket pusher to a DW case. However, the rep pusher does not look like the pusher in the tread. The pictures show the 6265 case and the outer part of the pusher (I belive all parts of the pusher is still in place, including the small spring). Any idea of how to solve this?
  5. This is the strap the watch came with (also available in black): The strap looks OK in picture but it feels cheap. Here you can see that the rivets are nice though.
  6. Received these beauties from Precious Time last week. Great to deal with PT as always. The Big Pilot has a good feeling but the rep strap have to be changed. There are not to many options. I ordered the black gator from Strapluxe. The strap is OK but not worth the $150 it cost. I was actually disappointed when the strap arrived. It is said to be alligator but the feeling is more like gator grain. The rivets on the rep strap is better looking but a few strokes with a scotch brite gave the rivets on the Stapluxe a better look. The Portuguese is a perfect dress watch. This rep is not very accurate but it has a gen feel. I already had this strap. It is a dark brown gator from The Watch Boys. I ordered it for an FA Jones but it did not look good. The dark brown, however, is a perfect match to the grey dial of the 5001. The gen is white gold and cost about $20,000. This was about $250, with the strap
  7. Spot on! Not easy. Check this: hXXp://www.network54.com/Forum/594638/thread/1218622929/S%E5+h%E4r+fungerar+Glidelock+Ref.98210
  8. Check these out at TimeZone: hxxp://forums.timezone.com/index.php?t=tree&goto=3915270&rid=0 (Change XX for tt) I can not avoid reading the stupid writing on this watch!
  9. The gen in the picture above is the Carlzon version with blue dial and white date wheel. The gen with black dial also have a black date wheel. I like this rep. It is a good looking watch in it's own. With the new case back it is even better. Other than pugwash no one has posted wrist shots of it, as far as I know. Wrist shots anyone?
  10. This is a great combination torresp!! Hirsch rally strap? Is it the Lemania/Seagull movement? Did you get it from King?
  11. Zulu day today! Started with the SFSO on coast guard orange. Then changed for pam 036 on desert tan.
  12. Here you go: White dial SFSO and coast guard orange 2 ring zulu! The zulu may be the better choice for this watch since the nylon in the strap is heavier compared to the classic nato. Nato gives a vintage feel that you avoid with the zulu.
