  1. Don't forget to treat the strap for "rainy" proof with oil/wax or silicon spray, and it will give a little darker color, that is more appropriate for the watch. ref: http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?s=&amp...st&p=502287
  2. Is it just another fashion watch? Or it will go in the same rank of B&R and HBB ? ref: hxxp://hrwatches.com/category/wyler-geneve
  3. I think using pic from other member here in this community/forum to "show" something and comment on it, and by specifying the name of the autor for the credit of the photo, I think it's ok. Outside this forum, it's little picky like the previous member says. Each person have a different opinion on this anyway...

    My PO

On a 8" wrist, it's not because you have a wrist not big enough that's for sure, I think it's because you have a "round" top wrist, and the lug tip on the Omega are straight, but lug tip on the SFSO are falling down on each side, so it fit better on "round" wrist. Just my hypothesis, make sens?
  5. Men, you have a lot of gots to show your face on a replica web site
  6. To re-enforce this hypothesis, some automatic mvt, like the Seiko 7S26, just don't have the mecanism and the possibilty to manually wind them, you can only shake them (swirl them), and that's it. These mvt are known for their robustest and broke very rarely, one of the best mvt out there. Not elegent, but they are very well built, no xtra stuff gears, less is more. On page 5 you will see how to wind an automatic mvt that don't have the manual winding mecanism: hxxp://www.seikowatches.com/support/ib/pdf/SEIKO_7S26_35_36.pdf
  7. Why not try this, not too long, well made. hxxp://www.puretimewatch.com/index.php?productID=48
  8. Thanks to advise fred, but the purpose of this treatment is just for rainy day, or splash of water when I wash my hands. The purpose of this treatment is not to go under water with the strap (wax will be more appropriate). I don't and will never use leather strap to swim, use only metal bracelet or rubber strap. This is the result of 4 to 5 pass of mist of spray, on the external surface only (NOT the inner side), dry between each pass (dry very quickly), this picture is after 12 hours so it dry completly. Sorry for the bad pic, it just a quick snapshot to show you what I use: This is a an exposure of a natural light:
  9. Finally I use a spray that I had in my undersink cabinet, I use it for my winter shoes/boot. Dry fast, and don't leave residue. The color turn little darker, but very subtle. It will be waterproff, and stain proof too. I think wax would me messy, or even oil. I think it's better for this kind of strap. But I'll never use that on shinny croco or gator strap.
  10. Can somebody suggest oil, wax, or shoes spray or whatever to treat this strap to be waterproof? today I was under rain, and it collect water, so it is not waterproof at all, dark spot was appeared, is it possible to treat it?
  11. At the moment the wrist is not smaller than the lug to lug size, you are ok, it's the rule. I mesure it, for other who are not sure if they will buy it or not due to the size, the lug tip to lug tip size is 54.3mm I'm confortable with big watch, some are not. It all depends about self confidence to wear big watch, it's all in our head
  12. Agree that a black rubber strap pops out the SS case color contrast (better than leather strap). The only thing that I'm not sure of buying this strap is the "BREITLING" brand name on the strap
  13. Boring grey (rainy) Sunday... but the grey skyland shine on
  14. INCREDIBLE GREY DIAL WATCH PRESENCE You want a watch that punch, you need a Skyland.
  15. Here it is on a 6.5" wrist size, the skyland it's really the limit of case size I can handle.. a looooot of presence
  16. I'll say that depend of the model, for the new Skyland V2, the price if pretty fair. But, if they want, they can sell rep watches if they want at $1000 (like some HBB rep), I don't give a s***, but I'll not buy them, that's all.... and a lot will not follow too, and dealer/factory will be stick with an over stock. Dealer try to raise the bar and play with a dangerous game with us. The client will always have the last word. Always. It's the law of market.
  17. Full MOD 3717: - Swiss ETA Valjoux 7750 - Full serviced - New Chief double AR - Relume
  18. Yes, Casio and timex watch, I'm sure they are GEN, always Seriously, that depend who wore the watch. A president of a big company, I can be sure he wore a GEN Rolex or a GEN HBB when he's in public. Imagine if he is caugh with a rep in a meeting or a cocktail, imagine his "reputation" and his image !!! He is burned
  19. Simple, share the same passion with others.
  20. First reason why I'm affraid to buy again from Angus is due to the very poor packaging carton enveloppe (I hate those envelop STOP USING THEM, IT'S PIECE OF CRAP), that is nearly all destroid when I received the package, thin bubble wrap to pretect watch.... All ingredient to bang the watch all arround and damage the balance wheel, or damage pallets rocks (missing one), it already happen to me.
