alant Posted September 18, 2007 Report Posted September 18, 2007 Hi may I know why is PAM 127 better known as the Fiddy?
FxrAndy Posted September 18, 2007 Report Posted September 18, 2007 I always assumed that it has some thing to do with the 50 and the American abuse of the English language
LordRasta Posted September 18, 2007 Report Posted September 18, 2007 That is correct. It is slang for the "50" in "1950". My teenage children have also informed me that the rapper 50 Cent is also referred to as fiddy. So I have my fiddy and they have their fiddy.
lanikai Posted September 18, 2007 Report Posted September 18, 2007 I always assumed that it has some thing to do with the 50 and the American abuse of the English language Well, since we don't speak the "Queens English".. it derives from the Hip Hop culture(that was started in the 70's in New York, by a Jamaican D-Jay...the rapping part) that abuses "American English".. it's our own since that * 4th of July incident* Peace...
