Is this the best Tag Heuer Rep?

Hi there,

I just got the Tag Heuer Tachy Racing Carrera Rep. What a marvelous Rep that is. I can not see any flaw in this watch!! Probably the most flawless replica I have come across so far - what is peoples experience?

Unfortunately the delevered rubber strap is a bit too large for my wrist. What do people think about the alternative I am using now?

Does anybody know a source for a rubber strap which is closer to the original (with the rubber coming closer to the watch) which can be ajusted better?

You could try the gen rubber, should not be that expensive from an AD, although the red stitch you have there is a good match.

Can you just not make more tongue holes in the rep rubber strap though? Must admit I've never heard someone say a rubber strap is too large

It's a nice watch but IMO it's not even the most flawless and impressive Tag never mind rep in general. Sorry, what can I say, the Aquaracer is in a different league quality-wise.

Checking "this" review though, the main flaw being detected is the "big subdial rings". (they are thicker on the rep)

Since this one has "outlined" metal sub-dials (where the difference is basically unnoticeable) doesn't it make at least the most accurate "Carrera" rep available (compared to the ones with "filled" sub-dial circles)?

That's a nice strap you have.. I like the red stitching, however, the rubber one that comes with it is just made to be cut. You size it to your wrist, close the pinch piece on the buckle and cut the slack. The downside to this is there is no going back. Also, an appropriate leather strap that can come with this model is the racing one with the big holes.
