timl
Hello everyone, I am in the process of replacing the asian movement (slow beat) of my IWC 3717 with a genuine swiss 7750. I have disasembled the watch down to where I need to remove the dial but I can't figure out how to do this. I know where the dial clamps are located but I cannot see how I can release them. Is there somewhere where I can grab on and pull them out or what? I am stumped for the moment and any help would be greatly appreciated! HauteHippie
Hmmm.... I have only seen dials secured to the movement two ways: With set screws through the side of the movement that you simply loosen. With glue, that you simply pry off with a razor blade or case back knife... Got a pic of these dial clamps ?

dachshund
Simply pull the lever (opposite from the pivot point) with a jewelers screwdrive, done.
timl
Ok, I managed to get the dial clamps out finally. I think my problem was that they are so small, it was difficult to see where I could apply the force to get them to swing out. Its my first time working on a watch so doing a movement swap was a little ambitious I guess, but I think I will be okay from now on. Thanks for the help chieftang and dachshund!
