Richard Tracy
Well after trying several makers of 24/24 straps I have found the old saying that Italians do it best.. to be so true in this case. Manifatture Firenze kicked ass in every area from their site, to their photo-e-mail.. their tracking notification and last but not least their Straps ! The material is TOP Quality,.. thick, well put 2gether and beautiful, the buckles are also not matched to this point. They even added extra holes upon request ! I have never seen such high quality straps... their attention to detail is Amazing.. http://www.manifatturefirenze.it/home.php/sel/0 I will be back ! Estaban
I've probably owned 30 straps in the past 9 months. The straps that I find to be the highest quality, best look, and most supple are Mario Paci. Pricey, but worth it. For budget straps that are close, Wojeckski and Bob's Vertigo are right there. I find MF straps to be a bit too thin. Great quality, but fit with the heft of a Panerai. I'm pulling the trigger on a custom Greg Stevens strap and am in the process of "vintageing" a The Watch Boys Hydro (which is also a sweet bargain strap). Richard Tracy
Thin ? The photos are deceiving.. that 196 is pushing them down into the carpet.. These are a full between 5 down to 4mm thick.. Perfect for Panerai... Believe me I know.. with my wrists not the thickest on the block I need thick and wide bands...which reminds me.. they are also 24.5 wide.. Great product.. and not as expensive as some would think....
V
Mf straps are great.. their smell is amazing.. although I agree with Estaban.. all the MF straps I owned were too thin no more than 3mm.. Their price is not that bad especially for US buyers (Europe buyers pay more) MF straps are definately recommended but not the best
sevomd
I also feel the MF are a little thin, especially compared to the Greg Stevens with stitch I have on my MM20. This is one thick strap. @Estaban -- You're gonna love Greg's straps. I'm gonna be getting more of his stitched ones. Eddy

They just don't do nothing to me. I will definately though buy one of his straps now that he is doing stitched ones

V
Enough with this Thin argument... How's this for Thin ? It's not thick enough .... THIS is THICK (5,2mm to be precise)
Richard Tracy
There has to be a balance, too much makes for a strap which will not conform... too thin is not good for panerai... 4 to 5mm is good enough.....
Highflyingclive
And, for the benefit of those of us who are just not prepared to wear a bottle-opener on their wrist... Who make the best 24/22 strap?
