UB7 Posted October 5, 2007 Report Posted October 5, 2007 (edited) I just noticed this while watching the finale episode of Top Chef on Bravo in the states...Towards the end of thte episode right before they goto the "final judges table" the judge and very famous and legendery chef Tom Calichio (the bald guy) is wearing a panerai california dial with a brown leather strap...They zoom in on it about 20 seconds before they cut to a commercial...Its about 24 minutes before the end of the show...I'm trying to find a picture but no luck so far...Just thought it was cool~ Heres an interesting interview with Angelo Bonati of Panerai http://www.timezone.com/library/tzints/tzi...742020270625000 Edited October 5, 2007 by UB7
lysis Posted October 5, 2007 Report Posted October 5, 2007 I thought it was a 196. It looked like a chrono.
UB7 Posted October 5, 2007 Author Report Posted October 5, 2007 It might have been I didnt get the greatest look at it, knew it was a panerai for sure tho
lysis Posted October 5, 2007 Report Posted October 5, 2007 It might have been I didnt get the greatest look at it, knew it was a panerai for sure tho I tivoed it and I'm going through it now (pausing heavily). It looks like a 63 on OEM rubber, since I saw a shot of a sweeping second hand. The best shot of it occurs just before the show goes to the live audience part.
section8 Posted October 5, 2007 Report Posted October 5, 2007 I noticed too, but didn't get chance to pause to try and pick out what model he was wearing.

I paused the show on that shot. Skeleton hands, date, SS case and on rubber strap. Edited October 5, 2007 by wombat247
HATORI HANZO Posted October 5, 2007 Report Posted October 5, 2007 definately not a 063. Saw skeleton hands and the rubber though.
