Edge
Here it is guys my first attempt at ageing a dial. I chose to have a nice grain to my markers as well as a bit of a glow, so I used appropriate materials for this. A nice luminecing paint as well as a little tea dye for colour. The colour is very deep, even compared to my 1680, but I like it and I think it's inkeeping with the feel of the watch. It looks a bit off with the unaged case but one step at a time. Here are some quick shots: Next is to drill through the lugholes and fit genuine spring bars. Also to age the case and round off any edges. I also need to know what crystal is meant for this model as I want to get a Tropic for it as the crystal on this is DREADFULL, it's cheap plastic crap, and needs to go. Hope you like it and let me know what you all think!!! Chris
