spookycord
So i just received a porto with seconds at 6, and it is still working, but with all the issues with this model I want it to extend the life. Well having it serviced help? could oils make it worse? should I wait and see or just freeze the 6 now? Any advice? And is it supposed to be this loud? I really love this watch and want to do what I can to make it last.
yellomen
i had several Ingenieur chronos... all rotten mvt's... untill one was serviced by one of Eddie Lee's watchmakers in the far east. Now it runs within COSC specs and the chrono works perfectly... I actually never expected it to turn out this good.

If you REALLY like it, before something broke (and cost you more) due to the dry mvt, dirt in it, QC that is very bad, send it to a full services (strip down the mvt, clean, oil it correctly, any mechanical engine, big or small, need OIL) and ask immediately to freeze the sec@6 by removing xtra gears. After that, your watch will be reliable for years to come without doubt about it (a watch that stop intermittently is very frustrating, trust me), and yes it will LAST. A watch MUST be trustable/reliable about accuracy, any time, anywhere, in any condition. Matthieu
