piratedzeus
Hey, anyone have something for this? I saw The Zigmeister & Moppel put Pins in the screw holes... but these look MUCH too big now! How much is a GEN bracelet? Are there any bracelet available to fit on this watch with pins? Anything? Can't see having this great watch this big flaw....big because a) omega always uses pins everyone who has owned a omega knows that they use pins

riffram
Not to hijack this thread, but does anyone else have problems on SMP bracelets with the first link/wing piece that is next to the buckle (and suppposed to be held in by side pressure from the clasp) popping out of place--and not going back unless you push/snap it back by hand--very annoying. I have put some thin cardboard in the clip mechanism, which seems to help hold the wing peice tighter, but it doesn't solve the problem. Also--is there a source on speedmaster-style bracelets with half links, since the size is always in between for me, and with such a heave piece, It is annoying. Thanks. Moppel
I saw The Zigmeister & Moppel put Pins in the screw holes... but these look MUCH too big now! Hi, the pins look indeed much bigger than the original screws. But for me it makes no difference since both is not very accurate. I put the pins in just for the fun doing it. How much is a GEN bracelet? Are there any bracelet available to fit on this watch with pins? A gen bracelet is probably twice the cost of the rep itself. However, I once bought a SMP bracelet from Andrew which I later sold to By-Tor. He was able to put it on his SMP with some modification. But I really can't remember if that bracelet had screws or pins. You might wanna ask him or search for some pictures of his modification. Moppel
Hi Moppel, I still have the bracelet. It was installed on my black GMT. And yes, it has pins. Damn, I knew there was a reason why I bought the bracelet. So why the hell did I sell it? Cheers Moppel
