croton chronograph dress watch

hi,

its been a long long time since ive been here last time.. but im back

well, i got my automatic replicas, which i LOVE !

i was looking for a "simple" dress watch, which will not be a rep this time.. that will also not be expensive, to use as my

"ordinery days" watch..

now i am about to get a Croton Chronograph watch like in the photo..

it suppose to have a swiss quartz chrono movement, altough i can be sure about it.. it might be a japan chrono as well..

does anybody had any experience with these watches?

any info will be much appreciated! thanks

I bought two back in the 80's-90's and ended up throwing them away. The quality was that poor.

I have no clue if they have improved since then. If you get it, make sure it's from somewhere with a return poilcy.

Croton quality has been up and down over the years. I have seen several models on shopnbc that I have come close to buying. They have a very reasonably priced full ceramic watch that is quite nice looking. Their most recent models look pretty good. If it's around $100 bucks I say go for it. Over $200 leave it.

every one with it's own preferences, to me it is looking nice

well, i have got it for $80 inc. world-wide shipping.. so it is ok.. not expensive..

i hope it will be durable, although anyway i dont plan on treating it rough.. only gentle use..

about the movement, some say its swiss, some other say japanese.. i hope swiss? it suppose to be one of the ISA mvmnts i believe.. with the date at 4 and chronograph features..
