I know, its a digital Tag Heuer....

why would anyone want one.

I also dont want to pay that much for a rubber strap and a fancy schmancy housing & screen.

Has anyone experienced the replica version?

I see it on some websites, but having a hard time finding a trustworthy website and this replica watch.

I have seen better ones, with "gold" digits on black background. If you ask one of the dealers (ruby or Silix), I am sure they can trace one for you.

Never been a real top end copy of this watch. Partially because of the 1/1000th of a second display and the orange on black display. I have seen the orange on black digital display but not the 1/1000th of a second display. Like the Monaco, I think this watch will remain elusive and un-replicated (well).
