Quick edit to above, some may be a bayonet fitting, ie it will not screw off but move a quarter of a urn or so and then come off.

On the original Inge, the holes in the bezel is a design-homage to the original Ingenieur "Jumbo" from the 1970ties, where the bezel was screwed on.

However the bezel is pressed on the usual way on the 2005 version. So, as far as I know the holes has no functional use on the gen... I don't know how the bezel-construction is on the rep.

Just for fun, a picture of the 1970ties "Jumbo" Ingenieur. :)

A big watch for its time, and a commercial failure. As the bezel was screwed on, the holes were seldom aligned with the dial.
