a german in denmark
What is the function of the 5 holes in the bezel? Can the bezel be unscrewed giving access to the crystal or what? Cheers, Volker

FxrAndy
Quick edit to above, some may be a bayonet fitting, ie it will not screw off but move a quarter of a urn or so and then come off.
Seadweller4000
The five holes are a tribute to the predecessor, the famous G
chrgod
On the original Inge, the holes in the bezel is a design-homage to the original Ingenieur "Jumbo" from the 1970ties, where the bezel was screwed on. However the bezel is pressed on the usual way on the 2005 version. So, as far as I know the holes has no functional use on the gen... I don't know how the bezel-construction is on the rep. **EDIT*** I see that Seadweller4000 beat me by one minute..
FxrAndy
That will teach me to look how the gens are made and assume the rep is the same
a german in denmark
Thanks guys... It would have been nice, but what, it's a rep. Like the screws in the AP ROO bezel, I guess
chrgod
Just for fun, a picture of the 1970ties "Jumbo" Ingenieur. A big watch for its time, and a commercial failure. As the bezel was screwed on, the holes were seldom aligned with the dial.
