I did not pick him up on the 1680 reference, assumed he'd just left a 0 off by mistake - clearly he's asking about the QUALITY of the dial. But it was only funny to read his question about the L on a 1680 dial with 1000ft!! Referring to you I think you are totally right! The dial is not bad, but I think it would be possible to do some betters! Why aren't those who make these dials not able to look at a genuine one and make a good replica of those?
