bertieng Posted May 31, 2006 Report Posted May 31, 2006 Is the correct crown should be 24-703-0 - 7mm? Is it necessary to change the case tube as well? If yes, will the threads on the rep. case fit the gen. tube screw? Any idea?
olreon Posted May 31, 2006 Report Posted May 31, 2006 (edited) hello, these are right, 24-703-0. if you want to upgrade your sub with a genuine crown you must also have the genuine tube. first you have to cut a new thread into the case, then you have to cut a new thread on the tube so that you can screw the tube in the case... best wishes olreon Edited May 31, 2006 by olreon
supermanx Posted May 31, 2006 Report Posted May 31, 2006 There is a thread on trc, where the genuine tube fit into PT's ultimate without rethreading. You need a new crown/tube/ and stem would need to be trimmed to size. Lee

It seems that the problem lies in the threads between the case and the tube. Can I just screw a gen. crown onto the tube comes with the watch?
