stilty Posted November 6, 2007 Report Posted November 6, 2007 I'm not too familiar with the folded link bracelets. I'm looking at picking up a 7836 bracelet for a vintage project that is slowly coming together. Looking at the pictures of the one I may buy, and others online, it doesn't appear that easy to re-size them. Can they be re-sized? The one I'm looking at is 13 links, so pretty much full size and may be too big once installed on the watch. thanks in advance.
RWG Technical Posted November 7, 2007 Report Posted November 7, 2007 I have re-seized one and the only way to do it is by unbending the links, and rebending them in place. Impossible to not have it leave a small impression, once you bend the metal in the other direction, it's hard to make it look like it did when it was made on a machine. RG
stilty Posted November 7, 2007 Author Report Posted November 7, 2007 Thanks The Zigmeister! I just fired you an email as well. T.
bertieng Posted November 7, 2007 Report Posted November 7, 2007 If you have a gen. bracelet, go the the RSC, they will do it for you free of charge.

But does it have to be attached to a watch? Nearest RSC is in Toronto, but maybe a local dealer will do it for me. It is not a cheap bracelet so I would hate to damage it.

As long as you tell them which link to be taken out they will do it. At least in my case.
