I'm not too familiar with the folded link bracelets. I'm looking at picking up a 7836 bracelet for a vintage project that is slowly coming together.

Looking at the pictures of the one I may buy, and others online, it doesn't appear that easy to re-size them. Can they be re-sized? The one I'm looking at is 13 links, so pretty much full size and may be too big once installed on the watch.

thanks in advance.

I have re-seized one and the only way to do it is by unbending the links, and rebending them in place. Impossible to not have it leave a small impression, once you bend the metal in the other direction, it's hard to make it look like it did when it was made on a machine.

If you have a gen. bracelet, go the the RSC, they will do it for you free of charge.

I was thinking they might. But does it have to be attached to a watch? Nearest RSC is in Toronto, but maybe a local dealer will do it for me. It is not a cheap bracelet so I would hate to damage it.

The RSC did a few of my bracelets already. No watch was attached. As long as you tell them which link to be taken out they will do it. At least in my case.
