Hi guys/gals,

Gonna kill the hour hand at 6 on my speedy's Seagull movement but realised i got all the info on how to do so but cannot find anything on actually removing the movement from the case, removing the stem etc. Apologies if its been posted before but coudn't find it.

Thanks to enlighten me...

Cheers

geesh, I really would not attempt this if decasing a movement is causing you problems. Seriously!

If you mist proceed, look for the stem release button (about a 1mm circle located very close to where the stem enters the movement). Gently press the button with a small screwdirver, while gently pulling out the crown. It should pull out quite smoothly. Then look around the edge of the movement for the three screws that secure the small clamps. Remove the screws and the clamps. Also, I'm not sure about this model, but on some watches there are small "extenders" that activate the pushers. When you remove the movement, these bits will fall out, so just be aware that they are there.
