JHM
Hi Guys, I think the breitling navitimers are really good reps, the only problem what gives theim away directly is the date window. It's to small, it need to break in the second markers a little. Problem is I can't find a dealer with a Navitimer with correct date? Are there any or do all rep's have a wrong date window? b16a2
I've never seen a navitimer with correct date window. The gen is much bigger and 'stepped' the font is also different. I have one of Joshua's and apart from that it really is very good, even the 'B' on the end of the stop watch second hand is good! Due to the dials on most BreitlinGs being very complicated, I find that you dont really notice the date window that much.
ubiquitous
Easy fix; upgrade to a genuine dial. Problem solved.
Helmut
Easy fix; upgrade to a genuine dial. Problem solved. A genuine dial will fit? I got a Navi (9-6-3) from Trusty so I hope it will. Whilst we are at it, any good sources for original backs and will they fit? The case back is also a bit different from the original in that it has a flat ring around the Breitling emblem (where it has 'Chronographe Certifie...'). Buy a gen Navi, remove the parts you need for your rep. Good idea,,,no?
ubiquitous
That's one way to make the best replica possible Only question is... What do you do with the left over gen parts?
b16a2
In using a gen dial, it would fix the problem of having a date window that's too small, but on the 3,6,9 especially, the date wheel is too low, and font is wrong, so may make this problem look worse by having a larger date window?
