LordRasta, thanks for your suggestions!

I can note a few flaws (scratches, splinterings) at Stephane's Nautilus. For $550 not good enough.

Regards

Alex

That must be the pictures. He just got the watch and only wore it to take pics. As far as I know it has not been outside and probably won't be.

You'll get the scratch, eventualy, and yes, Stephane wore the watch like two hours, and sure is carefull about his babies...

Could be yours within a few days (not to mention I think he also is getting rid of his MBW AP RO).

You should definitely get in touch with him, ask him for some more picture ;)

You plan on wearing this watch or putting it on an altar to worship....

Mine has some scratches yeah. I pay little attention to my wrist.

But they are lovely scratches at all.

This watch is supossed to be a vintage watch.

The most genuine nautilus I have seen for sale features scratches and some lack detail definition because they have been polished many times,.

This rep is made of hard steel, no soft one so dont worry..It will last you for years.

Go with the Stephane watch. You will not find better option.

@ All

Thank you so much for your kind words.

Indeed my Nautilus was not worn more than the time needed to take a wrist shot photo.

@Castellano: when you'll get a new watch, do me a favour.

Take a loupe and inspect it.

You will see that the watch cannot be without any "hairlines"

Once you have been spending an entire day wearing your new watch, look at it again under a loupe.

You might see one or two serious scratches.

That's life.
