Lv Sub Asian 21 Jewel With Problems

I have an LV sub with the asian 21 jewel movement and it has the following problems:

The power reserve is pathetic, it will last as little as 20 min off the wrist after 20 winds. Sometimes it will go hours???

When on the wrist is seems to lose 4-5 minutes over an hour period.

Any diagnosis out there, is there something this novice can do as far as adjustment of the minutes lost?

i suspect that the spring many be damaged? the symptoms are consistent with that problem
