Asian 7750 28800 GMT in Chopard

I have had mine since they came out - no issues at all. I agree though, I was concerned that the added GMT might affect the movement - has not to date...

I had 7750GMT movement in a PAM089 which broke. See http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showto...mp;#entry362485. According to The Zigmeister he has seen some working ones and some bad ones. Guess one has to be lucky......

I have run into two broken models of this 7750.

I have also serviced a number of these, including Jawo's Breitling GMT.

So far I would say of those I have seen, it's 50-50, those that work fine, are fine, the others are junk and not repairable. There are more than one 7750 factory, so maybe this is why some are good and others are not?

But I only have a limited experience, maybe owners can chime in...

Mine works fine.

GMT in sync with hour hand .... and chrono works and resets fine (...even though I try not to use it too much).

Great! I just ordered one from Paul I hope I land in the 50% ratio of the working ones.

Never had much luck w/ Asian 7750's... I swore I'd never buy one again - but the panda chrono is just too sweet to pass up.

I have a Chopard GMT 7750 as well. Of the three new 7750s in my collection, this is, I think, the best. It just feels better than the others, even if the second hand is a bit jerky (documented in other threads, and apparently this appears in the gens as well). And it is simply one of the most stunning reps out there. Still, because I love this watch I plan to send it to The Zigmeister for service early next year so that it enjoys a long, long life.

I have a number of asian 7750 watches...3 daytonas, a BCE, a SMP chrono all work/start/reset perfectly, I guess i've had pretty good luck with these watches because ive had no problems so far (knock on wood)
