tankster
So I'm staring at my new IWC3717 with the 28.8 A7750 - and wondering what the chrono @ 6 o'clock does? The stopwatch seems to work fine (counts minutes at 12), the seconds@9 works fine - but what about the chrono@6. Counts hours on the stopwatch function? Also, is there a downside to starting the stopwatch and letting it run all of the time, so that the big second hand functions as a regular seconds hand - ie, counts down seconds in tandem with the little hand at 9? Will this "hurt" the movement? I have been staring at it all day...what a beauty. Edited November 30, 2007 by tankster
Watchmeister
If it counts to less than 30 it is the hour chrono subdial.

RWG Technical
What he said...doesn't make any difference running or not, all the time or not. 6 o'clock dial is a 12 hour one. RG
