IWC 3717 Spitfire Double A/R Released

hi there,

the new IWC Pilot Chrono 3717 Spitfire, with white dial is now available with double A/R coating.(King and Puretime have it)

very interesting, if it is as good, as the A/R coating from k222.

if anybody gets one, please let us know.

I doubt that it's up to chieftang / k222 standards - to be honest I doubt if the gen 3717 is up to those standards!

[i say that having compared my chieftang AR crystal ingy side by side against the gen 3717's AR ]

But still - very cool as an 'out of the box' improvement.

Standart looks exactly the same to me (K2222/Chieftang and genuine IWC)

Different shaped crystals, of course, between my Ingy and the 3717 - but I felt my AR was stronger than the gen. I do have a side-by-side pic but it's not all that good as a shot, and not really conclusive.
