Glitch Posted December 8, 2007 Report Posted December 8, 2007 (edited) Settled on getting an MBK Nautilus. now just trying to decide on blue or black stick dial: Blue - is it more difficult to wear with your clothes (color wise)? Black - safer, but more common? I've already read all the inaccuracies of this model. Just looking for subjective comments from people who have either dial color. Thanks! jeff g Posted December 8, 2007 Report Posted December 8, 2007 MBK PPN - Blue or Black? Black. Blue however IS very Nautical. Blue is a bit like orange. The newer, less accurate CN PPN's offer many different dial colors.
Corgi Posted December 8, 2007 Report Posted December 8, 2007 I got the Blue MBK edition... it is very exciting. Black is very dull. Blue twinkles and plays tricks on your eyeballs. It is a very magical hue, because it's not like a submariner blue, it's a very dark blue that looks like black unless looked at from the perfect angle. This is definitely one of my favorite watches but I don't think I would be as happy with a black version.
Stephane Posted December 9, 2007 Report Posted December 9, 2007 I have the blue one (from TTK) and though I do not like the watch I would say that the dial is incredible. Cheers Stephane
FasTTaP Posted December 9, 2007 Report Posted December 9, 2007 The blue dial makes the watch, go for it.
LordRasta Posted December 9, 2007 Report Posted December 9, 2007 I have the blue one (from TTK) and though I do not like the watch I would say that the dial is incredible. Cheers Stephane He secretly loves the watch. Go with the blue!!!!

Watchmeister Posted December 9, 2007 Report Posted December 9, 2007 If it is the original MBW that blue dial and correct pins is what makes it a fabulous Patek replica. I vote for blue.
archibald Posted December 11, 2007 Report Posted December 11, 2007 Look at your collection. Ask yourself: Do I need another steel watch w/ a black dial? Answer own question.
