I take it is is supposed to look like a V-cylinder configured car engine.

It's all a matter of taste, but this piece is unusual for a reason....

THat is old for me..I've seen it last year...it is a watch..not a clock ...I got a quite bit of articles somewhere in 2 or 3 of my watch magazines..It is a cool and innovative design ..and you should see the movement cross section..pretty amazing ...
