nc35 Posted December 14, 2007 Report Posted December 14, 2007 hi all Noob here, but been reading and reading. Now I need your help PLs. I did set my sights on a daytona its the best looking rolex IMO but the modded movement seems to be a stumbling block for a first rep Joshua's perfect sub looks the part with Swiss movement and o rings But the omega watches seem popular So can you PLs help with a watch that will never leave my wrist? don't do any diving i just swim in a pool or on holiday in the sea only I never can remember to take a watch off to shower etc Thanking you all in anticipation
FxrAndy Posted December 14, 2007 Report Posted December 14, 2007 Well most of the sports reps are normaly pretty good out of the box, best to get it tested first but i never do i just chech ther back is on tight and the crown screwed down and dive in, so far no problems with my:- Railmaster Aqua Terra SOSF 177H Noobmarina Cheep seadweller EX 2 Silix PO As a general rule i use for my self, if it has a screwed crown and screwed case back and the crystal is installed flush and flat i will give it a go, please dont take this as a rule for all, i take a risk in life and a risk when i jump.

briarwood Posted December 14, 2007 Report Posted December 14, 2007 The seadweller from Angus is good. Spent a week in the Caribbean, snorkeling and swimming, then dress up for dinner. this watch does it all.

Anyway, if i should go for one today, i'll go for the SSD !!!..........(if you really want a Sub ..PM me )
