HauteHippie
P.2005 is, for lack of better words, bad ass.
Highflyingclive
"Man, Panerai is doing their best to thwart future mvmnt reps!" Never underestimate the Chinese. If they see a profit in building a look-alike movement... it will be built!
ryyannon
Check out the rotating-axis tourbillon on the Calibre P.2005 Good luck in repping that...
Victoria
Check out the rotating-axis tourbillon on the Calibre P.2005 Good luck in repping that... It's spinnin', spinnin'! (That's one freaky movement. Clive is right, but the Chinese are going to have to put their thinking caps on for that one)

Victoria
Sorry, Vicky - changed my comment just after you quoted the original... Heh. I'm too quick on the draw. I'll update the comment, since my followup wouldn't be changed. Don't see you posting as much as usual around here...cat got your tongue, or have you turned into a lurker? Dude, it's this little thing called Christmas shopping. Remember? Le Parking is le crap. P.S.: I'm against performance enhancing drugs, but not for shoppers. Watchmeister
I don't think it has much to do with thwarting reps. It has more to do with wanting to sell more $10-20k watches which you can't do without unique movements or precious metals. And even with precious metals it is tough to demand big prices with stock movements. To this day you can't give away a PAM 140 for more than $10,000. Heck, it might even inspire us to buy a PAM gen some day.
