MadMax1957
I spent all day Sunday looking and reading about replica watches. I was about to purchase a 1000.00 Swiss replica of a Date Just, and I found this site. I e mailed Andrew several times yesterday, he answered every question I asked. I failed to ask the question, how close are the in weight to the real thing. Thanks Max Hendricks
poopypants
SS, Two Tone, or Gold?!?! SS versions will be closer in weight to the gen than Two Tone or Full Gold... i.e. gold has some weight to it... hope this helps you make your decision... also, KING has some good variations of some datejust and daydate models... go to cclv.net... alligoat
Like Poopy says, stainless is very close weight wise. And it's a common recommendation around here to stick to the ss. W/ TT and full gold (both plated) you run the risk of wearing off the gold- a dead giveaway. The Datejust reps are pretty decent- and good beaters with the ETA movement inside. Guest Carl
The weight will be within a few grams. It's time to climb aboard. Post some pics when you get it. Carl
