rodwc
MOVEMENT: Swiss ETA Movement 2824-2 CASE DIAMETER: 44mm THICKNESS: 10mm DIAL COLOR: White Dial CASE MATERIAL: Stainless Steel 316L coupled wth 14K... Non- Chrono. Received the above watch. Quite a number of members in the past, have commented on its size ( Large ). At 44 mm. I am unsure to where the measurement applies. Could someone please tell me . Is it the overall dimension of the case? My actual dial measurement is approx. 25 mm. ( the size of the crystal ) Also this is not a screw down crown , correct ?? Could this be the mid-size model? as it certainly doesnt look overly large on my wrist ( 7 " ) and I aint no big fella. I read back that there has been a couple of attempts to make a correct dial for this model,( Haley/ rocket ) Have these attempts come to anything? Cheers. bazonkers
Could someone at least tell me the size of their dial. PM me and I'll get it to you later. I have a sleeping puppy on my lap and can't get up to measure it. It doesn't look that large on my wrist either and I have the same size wrist. I think the non-chrono version is smaller than the chrono version. As for your other questions, the dial redesign fell through. Rocket ran into some issues where the dial maker got tired of making small changes or something. Edited January 9, 2008 by bazonkers

hambone
Seems as though the size varies just a bit from rep to rep on the Santos 100. It is a large watch and a beauty for sure. My friends have bought both the ss and TT versions and they look simply great. Have not yet pulled the trigger on one myself as I would like the XL with a steel bracelet. The rep straps are not the greatest, but the tremendous presence of the watch itself makes up for the strap. Congtrats Rodwc, wear it in good health for many years.
