Asian Steelfish problem

hyster

Recommended Posts

Hi guys,

I swapped the movement in my steelfish for a 28k asian movement but have ran into a problem.

I have a problem where the watch stop at the same point in a 24hour period.

Does not seem to be hands fouling.

When I swapped the movement there was a small part under the second hand that was really tough to remove, its tiny and I pesume I have damaged it taking it off.

I would replace it but I don't know what its called or where to buy it.

Any ideas, love the watch and really want to fix it.

Not trying to be a wise guy, but why not just replace the original movement...??? The difference between 6 and 8 stops per second is miniscule, and INNSFHO not worth the bother of an entire movement swap...And...There are a whole bunch of "tiny" parts below the second hand...In fact the entire movement falls into that category...Perhaps a picture...???

And remember...It isn't how many times your watch STOPS per second that's important....It's how many times it STARTS!!!

Because I enjoy playing with them, its not as if they are hugely expencive, if it does not work out, I will happily bin it.

Plain as day to me, cant see how you would not notice the difference.

Its acually directly underneth the second hand, touches it.

Perhaps a picture...???

Camera broken, so unable to take a pic at the moment, sorry.
