marrickvilleboy
Ok, I purchased the genuine springbars for the UPO and now the rubber strap fits perfectly with no room to "fold out". Here's the link: Click here Springbar number: OME-SPRING-BAR-05 $3.73 each. It has solved the problem for me and i believe it will help anyone else that is having the same issues. marianetty
but are the easy to inset in the strap, or do you have to make the hole of the rubber strap bigger?? Thanks
doc savage
Cool--modded with gen parts! Couldn't I just pop into Ben Bridge and ask them nicely?
Bazz
Dont suppose you ordered any extra? $26.60 postage is a bit much for a couple of springbars

Thanks You will need to make the hole a little bigger in the strap. Not that hard really.
jdkno
You will need to make the hole a little bigger in the strap. Not that hard really. Not sure how tight of a fit it is but I bought 1.8mm springbars to put the gen dive strap on my SOSF as the springbars that came on it were really loose inside of the strap. The 1.8's would not fit easily into the strap so I put a bit of vasaline on the springbars and they slid right in. After the bars were in I just wiped the excess off and was good to go. might not work in this case but just figured I would share as if it does it seems easier than trying to make the holes in the strap bigger. trdsupragt
Would getting 1.8mm spring bars for the 42mm PO solve the problem for the rubber straps? (if it had problems with gen straps) Cause I'm not sure which 20mm spring bars to purchase for my 4th gen for when I order the genuine rubber straps.
