Orion1632
I have a STEINHAUSEN dual Watch winder, like this one on ebay no 330207878805. And after a few years of winding away it has stopped. Now, have anyone opened this kind of watch winder before? How do you get into it? is it from underneath? Thanks. Nightstroker
Im sorry to hear that....but to be honest....I think that this whole Steinhausen thing is a big scam....supposedly Steinhausen was some old forgotten about Swiss watchmaker who was the first to produce a watch with a full moon phase 24 hr system....they claim that their watches contain genuine swiss movement when in fact it is running with a very common asian....if you research the history of Steinhausen it is lacking any true genuine history and no pictures of the genuine watches that he made are available....in other words....its all a big marketing scam....and I do not support their products....which by the way are available at The Sharper Image.... Time to spend a little bit of money and get a real watch winder....I did a quick google search and there is a ton of great looking stuff out there....good luck Edit - Spelling errors Edited January 29, 2008 by Nightstroker
JJFlash
Don't waste your time opening up the winder. The circuit board on these Steinhausen winders go bad. Impossible to source a new circuit board. You now have a nice looking display box. (I have several of the quad winders that are now lovely display boxes.)
