Stamped from sheet is still "from solid" I.e. Not cast/forged

Oh and I'll play with a block of aluminum first till I get it right, then use gold! Things rarely work out right first time.

You using a CNC milling machine? I would do an exact 1:1 cad model, then take that model and make a moulding model with shrinkage allowance + machining allowance. And when you machine it, leave some allowance for polishing too. I believe the gen would just be cut from a solid piece. As it's gold..... Melt down the swarf !

In my experience the 3d scans are not that smooth and there's lots of work needed cad wise to make it work. Best of luck to you, let me know if you need any help.

I don't have a 3d scanner as I normally contract that out. Are you scanning an actual case? I thought you were asking for photos?

So when you service the watch, what are you looking for? Where and when do you apply oil?

Get the IWC top gun, ceramic case, nylon strap, titanium buttons.

The yellow is luminous, see this page, http://www.iwc.com/collection/aquatimer/ Use the lights off button.

I think the OP is hoping for a rep but has posted pics of the gen.

Sapphire crystal bezel with 6 coats of super luminova underneath..... Do you think a rep would come close? Not to mention the quick change straps.
