db1
i have a cheap breitling for bentley replica with a japanise automatic movment, where the chrono hands acts as calender and etc.. i was thinking about getting an asian valjoux 7750 and let a watchmaker swap it into the japan-movement replica. is this possible? as far as i know, lots of the working-chrono replica watches uses the same other shell the cheap japan movement replica has, only changing the dail and movement in it.. a japan auto non-working-chrono breitling rep -> put in a A7750 -> a working chrono rep is this possible to do? i'll appreciate any input thanks! b16a2
I have no definitive answer, but I would guess not. The chrono pushers would need to be drilled in the right place on the case, and the subdials might not be in the right place on the dial. I would save yourself some hassle and buy a Bentley that ciomes with the movement. The dials are more accurate to the original than the cheaper faux chrono Bentley's. db1
yeah i guess you are right.. im just trying to overcome the damn customs problem where i live (israel) it is a big gamble to try to get a replica shipped into here.. customs might stop to package at their door step and then it will be a long story getting away with it.. i wish there was someone on this forum with a creative idea (or experience such as what i am trying to deal with) .. who could write me his idea.. in PM of course grr... i want that bentley 7750!! my non-working-chrono rep sucks pretty bad ..lol thanks for the help! db1
