old skool
Well, these aren't the best pictures. I'll have to take better ones later, but I thought I would share. I broke down a WWII ammo pouch, tossed in a SC PVD sew-in buckle and this is what I ended up with. I left the original white stitching for effect. peepshow
Looks like it could use a little Dr. Jackson's Hide Rejuvenator, though, old skool.
old skool
Looks like it could use a little Dr. Jackson's Hide Rejuvenator, though, old skool. I used a bunch on it actually....the leather isn't the best unfortunately. It is quite dried out. But I think this will motivate me to try again. jds
wow old skool, simply stunning combo! if you are trying again what happens to this one?! I need some talent like that.
TeeJay
Absolutely awesome strap The shredded section by the top lug detracts a little from the appearance, but, other than that, the leather looks really good. Awesome combo, I bet it'll be getting a lot of wrist time
peepshow
...The shredded section by the top lug detracts a little from the appearance, but, other than that, the leather looks really good... I don't think it even looks that bad, I just worry about how it will hold up. Looks good, though!
TeeJay
I don't think it even looks that bad, I just worry about how it will hold up. Looks good, though! Indeed, it looks awesome. The bottom lug looks fine, but the top one looks just a little too distressed, and, as you say, how well it might hold up would be a concern. Not enough to stop it being an awesome strap
old skool
I am not sure how it will hold up...I'll have to give it a lot of wrist time to see. I think the distressing could be good or bad depending on what you want. I personally would prefer less...
