My SFSO Movement

F15DOC

Recommended Posts

OK gang, I have never opened up a watch or changed anything before, but I hate this movement in my SFSO.

I think it must be the cheap asian because it gains minutes every day.

How difficult and how much would it cost for me to pick up a nice movement and change it out?

Suggestions and thoughts are greatly appreciated!

This watch was made with asian and with swiss movement so it depends on which one you bought. If it was below $200,- it was probably an asian... around $250 or above swiss... if you bought it new from a dealer.

So a little bit more specific info would be handy.

If it has an asian movement you can't just change for a swiss movement. There's so much more to just changing the movement...

An asian movement doens't have to be bad... i have some quite old asian movements that run great. Maybe it just needs some adjustment if it runs too fast/slow.

Can be ETA also, anyhow it should be easy to adjust for watchsmith,

I have both ETA and asian SOSF and both runs perfect
