chris5264 Posted March 12, 2008 Report Posted March 12, 2008 I had the same reaction to the Benrus type 1 as I did to the panerai luminor and the Seiko 6105, just some thing about the simplicity of the dial and the history. I considered getting a gen type 1, but ended up going with the MKii homage called the blackwater. The lugs are 20 and the case is about a 42 but the way it sits on the wrist is so perfect,,,it may be the most comfortable watch I've ever had on. Some of this may be due to the nature rubber strap which is soft and conforms to the wrist. I know a quartz or 38mm would perhaps even be more comfortable,,,but I just can't do that...
