How to remove strap on Cousteau and Slevin (help needed)

Don't own one, and sitting in a hotel right now, so I can't look at one either.

From memory isn't there a pin sticking out from the lugs, and it just has to be pressed out of place to get the strap off?

There is a button inside the strap that needs to be pressed at the same time as the pis is pushed. There is some force that might be needed to push the pin. The button serves as a "lock" to the pin.
