From memory isn't there a pin sticking out from the lugs, and it just has to be pressed out of place to get the strap off? I could be wrong... There is some force that might be needed to push the pin. The button serves as a "lock" to the pin. Good luck Don't own one, and sitting in a hotel right now, so I can't look at one either.
