seadweller3 Posted March 21, 2008 Report Posted March 21, 2008 I am considering a gen dial for my MBW 1680 and wondered how you "trim" the dial down the 0.5mm to make the fit? I believe most take it off of the right side of the dial near the 3 marker? Any imput would be very much appreciated!

I'd be curious to see pictures of such a mod, having the same project myself. Cheers

I did this mod by using a very fine grit paper, gloves(no prints on the dial) and I gently rotated the rim of the dial and test fit until it worked........use care and be willing to spend a lot of time. Someone here has the 1680 I modded with the Gen dial.....I believe it is Chieftang
