  1. It looks better than the one pictured beside (an obvious redial)! Probably the vintage lume look.
  2. Thanks for cheering me up. I'll do just that for the moment. Will keep you posted when I receive my Spinmaster DW
  3. That's bad news, I thought they were compatible. Oh well.
  4. Exactly. I just pulled the trigger on a 7750DW hoping that I'll be able to source a V72 (and a gen dial!) some day...
  5. You can also note the typical VI 68 date (inside caseback) There's no such thing as a 6th quarter in a year except at Rolex
  6. Caseback markings and movement are AOK. You've got yourself a nice original vintage Tudor! Enjoy
  7. I'm no expert but I can't see anything wrong with the case/dial/handset. The twinlock looks original (if it's not, me want some) The bezel insert might be recent or aftermarket but it doesn't detract. I'd love to see a picture of the caseback (inside and outside) and the movement, though.
  8. Are there many differences between ND and Phong cases? I remember ND being cheaper at the time. Anyway I went through this here The end result is virtually impossible to recognize. I should know, I had it serviced at a Rolex AD. And that was before I work the CGs. Since then I built another one, still have to do the CG but it looks promising. I'll try to show you pix soon. Hope this helps
  9. Interested, please PM me. bluebite
  10. Just...wow. How did your watchmaker obtain that dial ageing?
  11. Oops, thank you sir! bluebite
  12. Thanks for your kind offer, you have a PM. Cheers, bluebite
