need your opinions here, is this one worth the extra money? how accurate is this in compare to silix's ETA nickel plated movement version?

link to trusty's, the one i was looking at:

http://www.trustytime88.com/index.php?main...roducts_id=2033

is that the best, most accurate out-of-the-box version i can get ?

any help will be so much appreciated, i plan on a gmt master II with ETA, with a budget of $300 inc. shipping, wanna know how close i can get to gen with this budget and available out-the-box options.

db1 :)

db1, the lug hole cases were replaced with the new flush types approx 5 years ago. The lug cases are out there and seem to be more prized by collectors than the new.

With regard to the retro GMT, the lug holes are too small in diameter and located too close to the case edges. It would be very difficult (plus a PIA) to drill to the correct size & install the gen 2mm spring bars. Not sure what is the best model currently available, but I would suggest a flush case model.
