Whats a really good glue for ceramics?

Recommended Posts

I've chipped a piece of ceramic of my Rado. I used regular superglue to glue it back on, but within a few days it weakened and came off again. I know one of the reasons may be that I didn't use proper application technique and/or method to glue it back in (hold the piece of ceramic down for a few minutes, and I think I used too much).

Can anyone recommend a really strong glue that will hold ceramics together? Also any tips on good preparation and application technique etc.

Many thanks in advance.

if you go to homedepot or equivilant superstore just buy glue thats made specificly for ceramic. Or try a crafts store. I know ive seen specific ceramic glue many times. Ive never really been looking for it so i could be wrong but most glues state exactly what they are designed to bond right on the packaging. They make like 15 diff kinds of crazy glue and the crazy glue GEL package i have in front of me says works best on glass, ceramics.. etc etc
