Tom Posted April 14, 2008 Report Posted April 14, 2008 This should be easy for someone in the know. i have a 6497 with the standard rep canon pin and hour wheel. I tried to put some 6497 hands on it last night, which I think were from Davidsen and they don't fit. It looks like this is because on the hands I have, there is little to no inner tube. Do I need the canon pin fix to use these hands? I am guessing that these ones are for already modified watches. It seems to be because the hour wheel doesn't come far out enough above the dial for the hand to sit happily What do you think - the inner tubes is almost flush to the second hand - maybe 1-2mm on the hour hands
vric Posted April 17, 2008 Report Posted April 17, 2008 Davidsen Hands are wider to be fitted on an H3 pinion., won't fit on H1
Tom Posted April 18, 2008 Author Report Posted April 18, 2008 Thats what I suspected - thanks for the tip. I've got an H3 kit on it's way
