youpmelone
My wife recently inherited some money from her grandfather, it was almost enough to buy a used submariner. Grandpa used to work on a submarine, we thought it would be a good idea to honor him this way. Just closed the deal, 2400 Euro. Sorry for the lousy pics, don't have the watch yet. Was it a good deal? (very trustworthy seller, all papers, recently checked by biggest jeweler chain in the country. no service required)

Am not that sure that he will be thrilled, died about 8 months ago, but he always said that he was a simple guy, solid but simple. Hence the Submariner with no date. Solid and simple. PM me regarding purchase of a gen online, might be able to help. You can share that info with the rest of the board if it helps. Grtz
Stephane
2400 doesn't sound like a bad deal at all. Of course it depends on the actual state of the watch but why bother as the seller is reputable. Good choice in my opinion. Cheers Stephane

No debate here No watch can stay as clean and polished as in a box... A watch must have an history and a watch history is the hairline scratches My first gen Rolie was polished before I got it...now it shows signs of wear which means we share time toghether
