I've got a PAM217 (Asian movement), it's my first rep so if it's dead then so be it. It seems to have happened overnight, maybe it got banged in my bag or something.

Basically I can set the time, wind the movement but it's not ticking away; there's not a flicker of movement.

Has anyone experienced this problem? Anyone know of anyone in the UK (maybe on the boards) who fancies having a look?

Bet you overwound it and broke the mainspring. Could take it to a watchsmith and hope that they will work on it or find another movement from a seller or someone in this or Repgeeks forum or buy a new watch and sell your for parts to recoup the costs

I've got a slevin on the way so I might just leave it. Is there anyone in the UK who'll service it? If it's a The Zigmeister job I dunno if I'll bother, I'll just get the slevin done.

It might be possible that the movement got blocked by a loose screw or something. The asian 6497 movements are quite good and usually don
